Kirsten Untalan (she/her) is an intermedia artist currently based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her work approaches the fields of digital media, installation, and sculpture. She started her university studies in 2019 and is fulfilling her undergraduate degree With a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Alberta (graduate 2025). She is focusing on a series of artworks ranging from her research of emotions, identity, and folk storytelling through allegorical motifs and fantastical forms and how they can inhabit a created space for visual narratives. She is recognized for her contributions to the art community, volunteering at The Works International Arts Society. Exhibitions include the FAB Gallery at the University of Alberta (2024) and the Art Society of Strathcona County (2019). Kirsten has been an executive student designer for the Visual Arts Student Association.
