Miriam Colindres (she/her) is a Visual Artist. She is currently enrolled in the final year of her BFA at the University of Alberta and has previously taken an art course at Museo Marte in El Salvador in 2013. Her work explores childhood memories, recent experiences after moving to Canada, and the intersection between both cultures. Her practice involves paintings, sculpture/mixed media. She has exhibited work at the Royal Alberta Museum, McMullen Gallery, Bleeding Heart Art Space, and on campus at The University of Alberta. She has recently received awards for her art and academics.
